IDEAL USAGE:
This quiet and secluded property has a couple of places that seem to be ideal for a house or cabin. Less than 1/10 of a mile from the southern boundary at Fish Hatchery Road, there is an old barn, and the surrounding area around the barn seems flat and would make an ideal place for a larger home, barns, etc. Further back along Mason Lodge Road, about 2/10 mile from the corner, is a flat spot (see photos) where there is probably room for a cabin, and maybe more room further up the little valley between the hills. The hills appear to be virgin wooded areas, ideal for hunting or hiking. On my drive through the area on two different days, I've seen raccoon, woodchuck and white tail deer. Neighbor says his son has found deer, pheasant and wild turkeys on the property. If you want to live out of the congested city, but within an easy drive to conveniences, this is the ideal place for your home. If you want to camp, hike, hunt, or even park your RV, explore the little valley between the hills.
BACK STORY:
I thought this parcel was the ideal hide-away in Greene County, and purchased the parcel from the Scruggs, who I think inherited the property from a relative. There has been no development of the property that I know of, although other neighbors have homes, mobile homes, small farms, etc.
